We spent a day educating the girls on the desert and visiting my brother Braxton at his workplace in Death Valley. We took the girls to a museum in Ridgecrest California where my dad lives. They had a great time seeing all the animals that are native to the desert. The museum had an outdoor labyrinth that they enjoyed exploring. After lunch we drove through Trona to Panamint Springs Resort in Death Valley. My brother Braxton is working and living there. It is a very remote place with it’s own special charm. I gave Natalie an assignment to take pictures of our trip. We are creating a little book or report for school to share what we learned and saw. Here are some pics from our day.
