Today we planted 2 Triple Crown blackberry and two Heritage and two other raspberry plants from Sams, yellow crooked neck, acorn, zucchini squash, and watermelon plants. The cucumbers, peas, lettuce and carrots are popping out. I had a great little helper!

We planted some great tomatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, rosemary, oregano, pumpkin and cilantro plants. We also started lettuce, spinach, peas and cucumber from seed. Thanks to Pop Betterton for helping me get it all in the ground.

We decided to plant a garden this year. Mike was so wonderful to cut out a place in the yard and build a square foot garden for me. We have lots of deer here and knew that we would need to fence it if we wanted to enjoy any of the fruits (or veggies) of our labor....

We were blessed to have a great Christmas day. It snowed – which is amazing for middle TN. It was beautiful. We had fun getting ready for the girls and then watching them open their presents and scream and dance and play all day. Enjoy some pictures. [nggallery...
