We are almost finished decorating after the bathroom remodel this spring. I wanted to put a verse on the wall by each girls sink. A verse that will remind them to do everything as unto The Lord. Our verse for this week is Colossians 3:23-24. I started playing with how the verse would look in a frame. At the same time Jenna wanted to do a craft so we pushed forward and here are the results. One for Jenna and one for each side of the girls bathroom. I found the frames at Michaels and the colors and style matched perfectly for the girls rooms.
Jenna also made a pillow today and then cut initials out of the same fabric. We used the same fabric to mat her scripture passage in a simple black frame. We put the no sew iron on backing on the letters and she is going to iron them on the wall. We found the idea here. I can’t wait to see how it works. Maybe we will do the same thing in the girls room after we finish their window seat cushions.
