As we continue to parent our girls we find ourselves saying (or hearing the other) say some pretty interesting things.
Mike: Did she poop today? (well before kids we had no idea our conversation would be centered around poop so much)
Duffy: How did your hair get wet going potty?
Duffy to Courtney as she sang on and on and on loudly: You have two options, either stop singing or be quiet.
Duffy or Mike to either of the older girls: Get off your sister. Or Don’t sit or stand on your sister. She is not a stool.
One of our favorites was heard by mike as duffy was trying to help he older girls get ready for the day: “Take your clothes off so you can get dressed”
A couple of new ones- “Don’t lick your sister” or “Do not put any part of her body in your mouth”.
You are going to be so glad you wrote those things down! One of my favorites is: Do you want a spanking? (as if they are going to say yes?? LOL)
I had a good laugh reading those! Thanks!
Oh, yes, the poop conversations we’ve had. One of my questions to David lately is, after he goes poop in the potty, “Are you clean?” He always swears he is, but isn’t always.
Or, “She’s had how many stinky diapers today?” Today – 3 in 3 hours. Ugh!
we were having dinner with some friends recently, who don’t have kids and after a few minutes of dominating the conversation, realized we had been talking about poop for awhile and our friends looked rather disgusted. Oh well, their day is coming…
