It has been a while since I have updated about our garden or well, anything else. I always think summer is going to be easier and slower and yet as the girls get older it is busier than the school year. So maybe when school starts back I will back log some updates....

Natalie brought home a cabbage plant from school for a competition. She has been very excited and really wants to win the $1000 scholarship award. We harvested her cabbage head today. It weighed 9lbs and was 2’6″ around. Hope she wins!

Courtney and spent an afternoon making scarfs from old T-shirts. We made three scarfs and several flowers from one package of two t-shirts. It was fun to work together and see what we could create. Now we get to wear our creations!
